Bunifu Technologies Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder Kimutai Kipng’etich is set to attend this year’s Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Global Summit in Bellevue and Richmond, WA, United States (US) following his MVP 2017/2018 award.
The Microsoft MVP Award is an annual award that recognizes exceptional technology community leaders worldwide who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with the developer community and Microsoft.
MVPs form a community of over 4,000 individuals from 90 countries across the globe. These persons get first priority in Microsoft products, exceptional communication channels with Microsoft product teams and an invitation to the Global Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals Summits.
Kimutai alias Kim Too Flex, earned the award on Visual Studio and Development Technologies category in 2017 because of his consistent sharing of knowledge to .NET developers all over the globe.
Founding Bunifu UI .Net Framework in 2016, blogging about .Net Programming, working on Open Source Project(s) on GitHub, showing Modern UI skills for C# and VB .Net and posting Videos that help .NET developers craft beautiful UI are some of the major activities that contributed to him being noticed and accorded by Microsoft.
Kim, who is the only MVP in the East and Central Africa attending the summit, is excited about as it is his first time to attend. He believes that the 3-day (March 4–7, 2018) event will give him an opportunity to network and to learn new things from his fellow MVPs.
“I am very excited to be among the MVPs attending the summit this year as I will have a chance interact with Microsoft’s latest technologies and software engineering techniques aside from meeting with top Microsoft executives,” Kim said adding that the summit will provide him a platform to interact with fellow MVPs from around the world.

According to information on the Microsoft Website, the MVP Global Summit is an annual multi-day and an exclusive event for all active MVPs from all over the world hosted at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond and Bellevue, Washington State. The summit also serves as a way for Microsoft to recognize the contribution they make to the community.
The Summit gives MVPs an opportunity to meet Microsoft executives, network with peers thus helping them to position themselves as technical community leaders as they receive early access to technology through a variety of programs offered by Microsoft, which keeps them on the cutting edge of software and hardware industry.
Microsoft launched its MVP program in 1993. As of October 2015, there were 4,000 Microsoft MVPs. Last year, Microsoft revamped the MVP program. creating some new MVP categories, consolidating others and moving some MVPs into new ‘influencer’ programs.
