Bunifu Technologies Ltd. is among various Kenyan companies which will be showcasing their products and services in this year’s China (Beijing) International Fair For Trade In Services (CIFTIS) which starts today May 26 to May 31 in Beijing.

In the fourth annual China, Beijing expo, Bunifu is set to showcase its information security products and services alongside the soon-to-be released Developer tools.
The exhibitors of the event will be introducing some of the latest and widest ranges of products and servicing such as: business services, communication services, construction and related engineering services, distribution services, educational services, environmental services, financial services, health and social services, tourism and travel-related services, recreational, cultural and sports services, transport services and other services.
Bunifu being the information security company associated with the creation of first African Computer Antivirus is expected to showcase its Bunifu Antivirus as they explore possible partnerships with other InfoSec companies in the far east country.
This will be an opportunity to network and learn from other companies in the IT industry, Technology transfer and to find suitable partners who would assist in refining Bunifu infosec products and services for the Chinese and Asian market.
The trade fair themed “Openness, Innovation, and Integration” is organized and hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, and would focus on new fields, pattern and opportunities of opening up of service sector.
Leading the innovative development of service enterprises, and promote the substantive communication and trans-boundary integration of different countries and regions, different industry fields and different service products is also among the objectives of the expo.
The expo creates a huge opportunity for IT and software companies as the very industry in Mainland China is estimated to be worth about $493 billion according to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information.
By the end of 2014, there were 630 million internet users and 1.29 billion mobile phone users in China and in 2009 there were 16,000 registered companies and the sector contributed 24.6 % to the economy. With a population of about 1.3B, China provided a market for about 984 software companies that achieved 15 million USD or above in revenues in 2008 alone.
The expo space covers an area of 50,000 square meters bringing together 31 provinces and autonomous regions & cities of China, 32 foreign countries and regions, and 26 themed sections.
